Country Santa

This fanciful holiday image is inspired by the art and themes contained in the classic children's book "The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree".

A stylized country Santa gallops through the cold night air atop an energized Old Piedy. Santa carries with him items from the story: Ruthie's ax and lantern, a bedroom pitcher, a candle, various country kitchen items, a Christmas play crown, a treat poke orange and candy stick. Santa's sack is decorated with a corn pattern. The Perfect Christmas Tree sits in the background.
