Tails of Whimsy Mission Statement:
To create decorative, whimsical art portraits and prints of animals for loving pet owners, animal care professionals, and those who know the sheer pleasure that cats and dogs (and other pets) bring to an enriched life. In addition to this, we offer decorative prints for the holidays and seasons.

Objectives:
1) To celebrate the joy and fulfillment of pet ownership to those who cherish and lovingly care for animals.

2) To help animals in need of love and shelter, we often donate a portion of the proceeds of certain works to select animal rescue organizations across the country. Please ask how we may help a shelter in your community.

Our Business

My studio is located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, an area known for its art, crafts, and music.  Many people are enthusiastic about these whimsical animal portraits, prints, and the North Carolina Santa print. 

Who We Are

Daryl Slaton is a multimedia artist with a long list of commercial clients. He has created works for Fortune 500 companies and theme parks (and small companies, too). He is focusing on decorative art for the home and children's book illustration.

Louise Glickman brings years of design and marketing experience to Tails of Whimsy.

Together, Daryl and Louise are committed to the pleasures of creativity, humor, and decorative art.
